Like nothing ever happened...

Mic check 1, 2, 3... anybody out there? I'm just going to transition into this blog post like I haven't been missing for over year, k?

So how was everyone's Fourth? Do anything particularly exciting? I decided to get super patriotic this year and painted my nails like ye ole American Flag! Being as I'm going to be teaching South Carolina History (which is basically American History) this year - I figured I better put my best patriotic foot forward! Looked great with my navy striped bathing suit at the in-law's pool all day!

Also, I just finished Bob Harper's "Skinny Rules". If you care about eating healthy at all, read this book now. It's awesome. So this was my contribution to the family Fireworks + Dessert party! Fruit flag!
